Glitch Essences- take 2
Since my first effort, I found bottles that are a better shape. The larger size feels like the “right” size to me, and the tiny bottles are just so cute!
The color of the essence didn’t photograph very well (darn purple!), but in real life it matches the flower on the label nicely.
I used dishsoap for these bottles. It will stay liquid, unlike the clear glue I used before, but should be pretty stable.
Also, I’ve made up an info card that includes the Encyclopedia entry and a picture of the flower.
Getting closer! Next step- I’m going to see if a few micro beads look nice rolling around in the essences, like the bubbles in the glitch asset.

Phew! At long last, I’ve got a photoset of all 11 Icons of the Giants.
Many of these were never in the same room at the same time, since I made them over the course of a few months for some wonderfully, beautifully patient and understanding Etsy customers. <3 I’ve got the listing back up, but I DO have a few people on a waiting list, and I won’t be taking on 30 Icons at a time ever again.
I think Humbaba might be my favorite, in terms of how these turned out.

It’s amazing they’ve kept so much of it up for so long — amazing and really sweet, keeping the forums and even letting us play around with our Glitchlings’ appearances. That goes away next month, but fortunately the Encyclopedia and all of our profiles get to stay!
Until the site goes into archival mode, they’ve made all the clothes free so we can play around with appearances to our heart’s content.
I’m plastering my world with Glitchy things, hoping that might fill the hole, but it doesn’t. Just as I expected, I’m back wandering through MMO after MMO, eternally dissatisfied. Seriously, why are so few games made for adults? Is there some secret adult community of gamers out there that I’ve never found?
